The 25 Year Anniversary of San Francisco Arts & Film for Teenagers

A dear friend of mine is the director of San Francisco Arts & Film for Teenagers (https://artandfilm.org). The organization is twenty-five years old this year, having been established in 1993 by local artist Ronald Chase to make the arts a constant and inspiring presence in young people's lives.

SF Art & Film believes a steady stream of contact with the arts gives young women and men a context through which they can begin to understand their own lives and discover their own creative energies.

Art & Film's motto is, “we give you what school can’t” which they deliver on by making first-rate cultural events available to all interested Bay Area students. These include film screenings, gallery walks, museum tours, and free tickets to the symphony, opera and theater, to name a few.

Here's a two minute video that puts Art & Film in a nutshell. Come on and watch. Thanks.
